We make the shade using a vintage linen fabric that we mount to lampshade styrene, and trim the edges with grosgrain binding, or fabric trim. The shade cleverly attaches to our maple wood base (made just up the road in a friend's woodshop!). There is a cast iron weight underneath the lamp. 8 foot cord with a switch near the base. Handmade with care and perfection, using UL parts.
