Antique Brise Fan - Charming Edwardian Celluloid Fan with Lady SilhouetteThis is a lovely little fan likely from the Edwardian period. It is made of celluloid and is threaded through with ribbon through the fab pieces. It fans out nicely and to the centre has a little picture of a lady in heels and a pretty hat with flowers, she is very charming. The fan is in very nice condition with the little loop to the base of the handle only partially present. It measures 8. 5 inches across the fan and is just under 5 inches high.

There is a faint wrinkle to the blade and natural colouring and texture to the mother of pearl and a hairline to the side as shown

It was also a famous glass producer

They come in an original case made of black papier mache with beautiful inlay to the top with a central flourish as shown

The lid lifts up nicely with a little lip clasp to the top and inside is a gorgeous silver gilt interior which is very bright and clean
