2023, Domaine de la Vougeraie, CHEVALIER-MONTRACHET, Grand CruThe 2023 Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru has more reduction on the nose compared to the Btard Montrachet and Bienvenue Btard Montrachet, with greater intensity and touches of egg yolk and light yellow fruit. The palate is very well balanced with a keen thread of acidity. There is lovely poise and weight, if not quite the "ambition" demonstrated by the previous vintage.
