Stanley Mill II, 6"x6"This original piece of artwork features part of the Stanley Tools Factory in New Britain, CT which is sadly in the process of being demolished despite community and preservation group efforts to save the historic buildings. A piece of history that will soon be gone. This mixed media painting is layered with my photography of the building, vintage documents, acrylic paints and oil pastels to create a unique, vintage inspired piece of industrial art.
