Description

Bacchante | Early 19th Century Hand Colored Stipple EngravingStunning, Regency era hand colored stipple engraving of entitled "Bacchante," a devotee of the Roman god of wine Bacchus. Presented as found in what looks to be its original frame and reverse painted glass, which forms a black mat around the print. The print itself is in very good condition, though the frame has chipping to the molding from age.
