This idea came about when we noticed how sweet the indigo was looking on the inside of the wallets, particularly the wonderful texture. Roughout is different than suede as it's literally leather flipped wrong side out. In this case, it means that it's still top quality full grain leather, which is much stronger than suede because of the fully intact top layer

We took the basic principles of sashiko and applied them to leather
