Description
2023 Domaine de la Grand'Cour Fleurie "Clos de la Grand'Cour", Beaujolais, France - 1.5L MAGABOUT THIS WINE Jean Louis is a devout practitioner of organic viticulture with the property certified by ECOCERT since 2009. Jean Louis, however, was practicing organic viniculture many years before that. Harvest is done by hand and grapes are immediately placed in tank at low temperatures to begin carbonic maceration (without sulfur). The wines ferment naturally with indigenous yeast and are macerated on the skins for anywhere from 15 30 days
the vineyards are planted on a limestone bed with gravelly top soils and are certified organic
"Les Vaux" are located in the town of Meursault
All aging at the winery is done in one of these vessels
with a more depth to the fruit
their estate owns 110 hectares (272 acres) of vines in the town of Torrelavit located in the Alt (high) Penedès subregion in northeastern Spain
whilst July and August were cool and very wet
New Zealand
The grapes for this Syrah were partially destemmed at harvest and fermented using indigenous yeasts in open top vats for two weeks and benefitted from regular punch-downs and pump-overs
Tatomer founded his winery with one Riesling vineyard
Monthelie Douhairet was run by the Douhairet family for many years
rather than sell in barrel
This wine pairs well with soft and creamy in texture meals
