The closed swage socket is a terminal fitting with a hole in it, which allows for a pin or bolt to go through for different rigging and lifting applications. With this Type 115 Swage Socket sling, you have a 2. 66 ton working load limit. Swage sockets are more resistant to fatigue where the cable and socket come together than other types of sockets.
