Duke of Fife Modern TartanThe Duke of Fife (or Fife Modern) tartan was designed in the late 19th century, around the 1879s 1889s, by Fraser Ross & Co. of Glasgow, specifically for the wedding of Alexander Duff to HRH Princess Louise, the daughter of HM King Edward VII. This event led to the creation of the Dukedom of Fife.
