1990年に山梨県清里に開館し、2014年に閉館となってしまった個人美術館・清里現代美術館が収集していた資料をまとめたアーカイブブックシリーズの第2弾「FLUXUS AND ITS SURROUNDINGS」。エフェメラをまとめた第1弾続いて、今作では「フルクサス」とその周辺の資料に焦点を当てて制作されています。ジョージ・マチューナス（George Maciunas）、ジョン・ケージ（John Cage）、ディーター・ロス（Dieter Roth）、斉藤陽子、塩見允枝子など、1960年代から2000年代までに制作された出版物を中心に、作品集や年鑑、フライヤー、招待状、マルチプル、レコード、カセットなど、清里現代美術館が所蔵し現存する「フルクサス」に関わる膨大な資料が一冊にまとめられています。
