India General Service Medal Miniature 1908-1935Instituted 1st January 1909 and awarded for service in minor campaigns in India before and after WWI. The North West Frontier 1908 clasp was the first issued and the only one initially with the Edward VII bust. 9 Distinguished Conduct Medals (DCM) were awarded bravery during the expeditions covered by this clasp. This medal is supplied without clasp which can be purchased separately.
Each medal is British made in the same factories that produced the originals during WWII
