Metal magnetic memory - Inspection of welded joints1 Scope This document specifies general requirements for the application of the non destructive (NDT) metal magnetic memory (MMM) testing technique of the magnetic testing method for quality assurance of welded joints. This document can be applied to welded joints in any type of ferromagnetic products: pipelines, vessels, equipment, and metal constructions, as agreed with the purchaser.

BS EN 62025-1 provides guidelines to manufacturers on how to select material for a specific application based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance

Note: The preparation of the test solution and any modifications to the general procedure should be dealt with in the specific International Standard for the chemical product to which the method is to be applied

A semi-quantitative determination may be carried out using matrix independent standards

This standard specifies the dimensions and tolerances of rod assemblies for aerospace applications with two adjustable ends with integrated bolts for interior and sub structure in the temperature range − 55 °C to 85 °C

The test method is not intended for the following applications:

ribbed and unribbed

cold-rolled

looking at public availability

045 mm sieve

It does not apply to crossing gangways nor to steps in so far as they are covered by UIC leaflets

Objects can be in suboptimal positions or conditions for haptic interaction by virtue of the situation being modelled
