Antique Wooden ShrineThis is a lovely naively made wooden shrine case. It is 5. 3 inches high and a very attractive shape with ecclesiastical shape with a pointed top. It has two doors which open centrally and inside is a nice loose cushion with red shiny fabric to one side and a blue design to the other and likely to be to rest a statue of the Virgin Mary or similar. The hinges are good with one having a replacement pin. It is in very nice antique condition and evidently

It has the bone leading down to the brass stamp which can be unscrewed so you can change the stamp

It is nicely stamped Sterling 925 to the side and fits beautifully

It has a nice A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to the top and the back is unused aside from the name Larry and a pencil number

This is a beautiful shell box likely from the first part of the 20th century
